The intern will work closely under the overall guidance of Regional Head (North region) and under direct supervision of Awareness Generation and Capacity Building Lead, SDGCC Punjab and will engaged in carrying out the following tasks.
Assist in planning social media campaigns.
Analyse social media reach and content analysis of the SDGCC Punjab social media platforms.
Suggest and plan creative and out-of-box digital marketing plan.
Coordinate with Universities and Colleges etc. for the Youth Conclave.
Curate and archive the content received from colleges universities and uploading same on the Academia platform on SDGCC website.
Assist the Lead in developing story boards/scripts for video documentation of SGDCC activities as per need.
Coordinate the capacity building sessions/workshops.
Any other related task as assigned by the Lead.
Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
(a) Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master s programme, or higher) in Development Studies, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Arts or related fields;
(b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor s degree or equivalent) in Development Studies, Mass Communication, Arts degree or related fields;
(c) Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;
(d) Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
Excellent creative skills.
Experience in communication especially social media or arts and media fields.
Understanding of development sector and Sustainable Development Goals in the context of the country.
Strong commitment to promoting informative and fact based virtual content, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as handling web-based applications. [Intern is expected to have own laptop for work.
