What You'll do:

• You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers that builds a backend from scratch on a new codebase.
• You will define the developer experience for everyone that wants to write new features on the code base and also author major components on the product. 
• Delivering quality, bug-free code on time, and building features for scale are paramount for this role.
• Besides laying the struts that make up the backend, you will work on diverse activities such as setting up infrastructure using code in tools such as Terraform
• Writing business services using Spring and Jersey REST APIs
• Monitoring servers and applications using New Relic / DataDog, and owning all stages of the delivery pipeline until your code makes it into production.
