Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Eliciting requirements Exploring requirements in brief, it should be self-explained.
  • Requirements of organization – Organizing requirements by importance, priorities, and achievable phases.
  • Translating and simplifying requirements – Simplifying and explaining requirements with easy language and real use cases, so that it can be understand by other teams.
  • Requirements management and communication – Managing requirements with queries and questions asked by other team, also communicating questions with stakeholders.
  • Requirements analysis – Analyzing single line/short requirements in detail to have full functional and understandable feature.
  • Assisting with the business case – Managing use cases and helping the team to analyze the cases.
  • Planning and monitoring – Planning and adjusting the requirements to get minimal achievable release and phases.
  • Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills – Explaining the requirements in the easy understandable language and strong communication skills to have coordination with US and India team.
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts – Should have knowledge and understanding of system engineering concepts to reform the requirements suitable to the system.
  • The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis – Conducting cost benefit analysis to get feasibility of the new requirements.
  • Business case development (User stories) - Creating and managing use cases for the business for each requirement with every aspect and impacts on the system.
  • Write technical documents, reports, CRM, user manuals, module user guides, system specifications, training material and other project deliverables to meet the product needs.
  • Research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables.
  • Research various information sources, including requirements, design and release documents to obtain information and develop effective documents to be consumed by various stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and take ownership for gathering information from Developers with reference to user notifications as well as release notifications for upcoming system releases.
  • Research and gather technical information in terms of documenting logic for all modules.
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help (e.g. Robohelp) and developer guides.
  • Collaborates with master data management team to collect, aggregate, consolidate, and quality check all client data in CRM.
  • Creates and maintains a structured folder on company drive to house all master data.
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct functional training sessions for new employees and new enhancement for all employees.
  • Review requirements (Business Requirement Documents, Interface Control Documents, etc.) pertaining to releases that need to be tested.
  • Responsible for performing all final UAT testing and working closely with IT QA team to ensure documented requirements are delivered as per the agreed terms.
  • Ensure all required fields and processes are followed; track defects and find resolution and provide additional details, if needed.
  • Responsible for identifying and raising issues or concerns with development team.
  • Assist in creating and updating tickets in JIRA.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and elaborating in brief and providing to tech team. Elaborating requirements is taking care of how screen looks like, what will be the functionality of each function on the screen, what will be the impacts on the other modules with samples and use cases.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft office, WORD, PPT, Wire-Framing Tools, and expertise in Excel
  • Strong writing skills for technical and business writing in ENGLISH
  • Strong interest & Flexible with technology subject matter
  • Ability to grasp and explain complex technical concepts and prepare required document
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to design the technical writing deliverable
  • Strong knowledge of process mapping, integration of which in software UI, Etc.

Specialized Skills:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, changing priorities and meeting strict deadlines by multi-tasking on a regular basis
  • Ability to offer Innovative problem-solving and accept direction and complete work as per instruction
  • Strong analytical skills while maintaining attention to details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to work with US, UK, and Canada based business owners in a professional business conducive communication style
  • Must have the ability to learn quickly and use office applications such as G-Suite apps, PPT, WORD, Excel, Project Management Tools (e.g. JIRA, Asana, etc.)

Professional Experience:

2-5 years’ experience


MBA, B.Sc. in communication or technical field with proven experience or expertise in software design business requirements.
