We are looking for a hands - on and motivated self - starter who is passionate about working directly with customers to help organizations adopt new processes , purchasing strategies , and cross - functional collaboration to embrace cloud technologies at scale and to ensure long - term customer success , advocating customer needs internally , and building long - term sustainable processes and metrics whilst working with multiple business development teams in a fast paced and evolving environment. As a Cost Optimization Business Development Manager in AISPL , you will have the exciting opportunity to support the world s largest and most complex multinational organizations as they transform their procurement and commercial processes so that they are optimized for the cloud. You will act as the lead on optimization conversations and support customers by engaging and helping their IT , Procurement , and Finance teams to optimize practices for cloud purchases and access all available cost savings. This will include generating and providing recommendations on how customers can optimize their usage of AWS , working to re - engineer internal processes , organizations and systems , and working with partners to ensure ongoing success of the customers in cost optimization and management. You are familiar with IT transformation within large organizations , and with working directly within the executive suite. You will also have superb communication and customer - relationship skills , outstanding analytic skills and insights , and are a passionate advocate for customers to other internal parties. Active collaboration with regional and global Business Development , Customer Support , AR , Billing , Legal , Operations and Product teams will be crucial to the effective execution of this role. You will drive simple , scalable solutions to difficult problems , have excellent project - management skills , and be able to communicate complex topics , both written and verbally , in a clear and easy - to - understand way. Responsibilities: Work with the local field teams to enable customers and partners in cost management and optimization , including providing education so that they can self - serve and becomes less reliant on hands - on support to cost manage and optimize Work with the regional and global Cost Optimization Business Development team to leverage and improve existing tools , processes , associated documentation , and training Become the subject matter expert in all cost and commercial related aspects of the customer life - cycle Assess reporting and analytic needs of customers , identify gaps , and feedback those to the regional and global Cost Optimization Business Development teams Evangelize cost related trends , themes and best practices with customers and partners Gather insights from the business , formulate opinions and present solutions to the leadership team , be the advocate internally for customer experience issues Be the regional representative to help define and improve processes and systems for customer experience Manage numerous requests concurrently & strategically Understand and communicate billing , forecasting , budgeting , and cost management best practices to internal teams and customers
