Recruiting for a Head of Finance (CFO) for a B2B 'industrial product' manufacturing company.Location: Manesar, GurgaonFinancial Planning and Analysis:- Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports including Monthly profit and loss, cost control & inventory management.- Complete analysis of financial results, Suggest recommendations.- Develop and suggest various business initiatives (e.g., opening new operations, asset acquisition, new service launches).- Develop and maintain, revenue, expenditure & capital budget, analysis with actual.- Development of financial planning and analysis exercises/ reports.- Represent the company to financial institutions, auditors, Govt. authorities and all concerned relating to finance and taxation and compliance thereof.- Remain up to date on audit best practices and relevant law regarding operations.Resource acquisition:- Develop the organization's funding base to secure present and future service delivery.- Liaise and negotiate, as appropriate, with the funding authority and other funding sources on future service delivery initiatives and developments.- Maintain appropriate relations with funders and make reports as necessary, ensuring compliance.- Identify opportunities for funded development of the service and to submit bids and applications accordingly.Financial management:- Maintain day to day financial control of the service within budget heads agreed by the management.- Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored.- Suggest on the proper allocation of resources.- Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and in use at all times.- Prepare and review detailed budgets for approval by the management.- Make regular reports to the management on income, expenditure and any variations from budgets.- Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met.Budget Management/Analysis- Monitors expenditures and income related to budgets to assure availability of funds. - Support other branch staff in complying with local, state, and monitors workflow.- Researches and analyzes discrepancies and processes appropriate correction transactions.Accounting and Administration:- Oversee the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting records and function.- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting to management.- Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.- Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax & other statutory returns.- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.- Auditing- Answers inquiries and provides data for auditors, local, state, or agencies.- Prepares and maintains mandated documents.- Examines accounting data for accuracy, appropriateness, and documentation.- Audits documents submitted for payment for compliance with board policies & guidelines, recommends solutions.MIS:- Timely and correct submission of MIS to management - Department Training and Team management: - Proper and timely guiding team members on current updates and other necessary information.
