COUNTRY MANAGER – GERMANY


RESPONSABILITIES
The successful candidate will:

  • Reach company profit and quality targets
  • Manage and liaise with existing direct customers (OEM) and distributors
  • Identify business opportunities in a wide range of industries
  • Identify key decision makers within client organisations
  • Finalise and close deals
  • Lead and support the dedicated Sales Team in Italy
  • Lead and support the Senior Sales Representative (Germany)
  • Report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director in Italy about weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results
  • Liaise with the International Sales Team and the R&D in Italy

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven track record of 10+ years of successful Sales / Business Development experience in the solenoid valves and/or pneumatic arena dealing with technically complex systems (i.e. sales to process companies)
  • Native/proficient German speaker, fluent English speaker. Italian an asset
  • Must be well-versed using Microsoft Office software. Familiarity with technical drawing software an asset
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning
  • Solid understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Engaging presentations with solid customer service attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, i.e. communication, negotiating and networking
  • Technical education / Degree in engineering / Business degree
  • Willingness to travel extensively in the areas assigned

CAREER DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
Upon gradual yet systematic achievement of the targets:

  • Addition of (1) Junior Sales staff
  • Business expansion to Austria and German-speaking Switzerland (macro area)   
  • Opening of a dedicated sales office
