Job Description
Sr Oracle Application database administrator with minimum 5years of work experience in Oracle e-business suite, Oracle Databases, web methods/integration platforms and ETL tools. A good team player and having good analytical skills. Ability to work independently in shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor, maintain, administer, troubleshoot all issues proactively of applications, integrations, ETL and databases for Non-production and Production environments. Perform upgrades, patching, bug fixes, refreshes of applications/databases as per requirements.
• Analyse and resolve issues from all aspects of applications, integrations and databases performance tuning.
• Take initiatives to identify technical gaps and fix them proactively to streamline operations
• Develop technical architectural understanding of existing and evolving IT landscape
• Process adherence of existing process and perform continuous process improvement
• Clearly document new issues, projects, enhancements and processes.
• Participate in internal and external security audits and ensure environments license complaint
Strong expertise on:
• Installation/ Upgrade/ configuration/ maintenance and Administration of Oracle e-business suite 11i/R12 and Oracle databases 10g/11g/12c. Experience on Oracle RAC Databases.
• Perform automation through Shell/Perl scripting or other tools
• Backup and Recovery, RMAN, knowledge of various restore and recovery scenarios. Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation through Oracle Data guard or other DR solutions
• Knowledge of administration of integrations platform such as webmethods, Oracle SOA etc.
• Good knowledge on Integrations and ETL tools ex. Webmethods, SOA, Informatica etc.
• General UNIX/Linux concepts & Administration.
• Performance Tuning, Parallel query, Query tuning.
