Job Responsibilities
As the DCO Analyst, the candidate will support an emerging fusion cell at Peterson Air Force Base. He/She will provide ongoing support of operational and functionalintelligence products in support of Strategic Missile Defense Command's (SMDC) threat analysis mission. The analyst will conduct technical analyses and provide assessment reports on the integration of cyber requirements, capabilities and training, perform assessments of new and emerging technologies, analyze assigned missions for capability gaps in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) capabilities and recommend solutions.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, and assisting in the coordination of ongoing fusion cell operations
  • Provide input for the development of cyberspace Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), Courses of Action (COAs), and other related documents
  • Provide input to address shortfalls, prioritization and validation of requirements, and modify development planning efforts based on the changing cyberspace environment
  • Contribute to the development of exercise scenarios, exercise operational plans, and other required documentation
  • Conduct research of current and emerging threats to U.S. critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR)
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or related field (Alternative education and experience requirements Masters/7, PhD/4)
  • Nine (9) years or more experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Computer Network Operations (CNO) strategy, planning, and analysis
  • Knowledge of multi-intelligence operations
  • Experience producing Operational Plans, Operational Orders and Fragmentary Orders

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • An understanding of the Special Technical Operations and Special Access Program communities
  • Ability to develop briefing materials, administrative, and logistics support
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with the ability to present complex technology in layman terms

  • Security Requirements:
  • Must already possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
