Position Summary:


They are looking for a Director of Sales who can reside in the Midwest or East (You can live in any major city in: CT, IL, IN, MA, ME, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT, WI) who understands the Customer Experience (CX ) / Social Media / Digital Mktg Analytics space and has managed (6-8) Senior Account Executives selling Marketing SaaS, CRM, Customer Experience (CX) / Social Media, Digital Mktg / Analytics / Business Intelligence solutions. This company is profitable and looking for the right sales leader to take them to the next level.
 
This company likes to hire candidates that have (5+) years of selling experience and (3-5) years of managing experience with companies like: Sprinklr, Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle CX or Service Cloud, SAP, Hybris, Hootsuite, Percolate, Spredfast, Domo, Forrester, Gartner, Sprout, Clearslide, Magento, Marketo, Actiance, Eloqua, Exact Target, Medallia, Teradata, Kenshoo, Episerver, Oxcyon, Acquia, Insidesales, Seismic, SaleScout, Aprimo, Vendavo,  mBlast etc. in their background. If you have sold & managed for any of these companies or their competitors, we would like to hear from you!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Hiring, training, motivating a team of Senior Account Business Development Representatives.  
  • Current responsibility will be for (6-8) Regional Managers / Account  Executives.  
  • Exhibited success in the following sales management challenges: margin improvement, revenue improvement,  negotiation improvement, new salesperson development, sales  training, sales process design, consultative sales approach and value-based selling!  
  • Teaching, mentoring and leading consultative sales, strategic account planning, strategic  account management, multi-stakeholder complex sales, solution sales, negotiation, territory management, value based selling, networking, new market penetration and growth strategies.  
  • Experience selling Enterprise-wide $1M SaaS deals is a must! Working knowledge of the CX / Social Media Digital Mktg Analytics space a huge +!  
  • Leading the Midwest / East Team of Senior Account Executives.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, MBA preferred or extensive relevant experience.  
  • (5+) years selling and (3-5) years managing experience leading sales teams selling Marketing SaaS, CRM, BI, Analytics or CX / Social Media solutions.  
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing automation tools is desired. You love the Customer Experience / Social Media marketplace.
  • Excellent interpersonal, skills, especially when dealing with Customers, Senior Executives, Sales Teams and Business Partners.  
  • Ability to work independently and proven effectiveness at managing multiple priorities/deadlines.   
  • Represents the Company at all executive-level forums throughout the Chicago Area. Great Personality / Fun to be Around!

Base Salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 (DOE)

On-Target-Earnings: $300,000.00 - $400,000.00 (NO Cap) + Great Benefits + Full Expenses + Upward Mobility

Locations: Midwest / East (You can live in any major city in: CT, IL, IN, MA, ME, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT ,WI)

Travel: 40%
