Director of Sales - Industrial - TX - 27082727


Our Client has been a leading supplier of Specialty Valve & Control solutions for more than 50 years! Their products are used in: Manufacturing, Oil & Gas (production & transmission), Refining, Chemicals, Marine, Power, Pulp & Paper, Steel industries, Food & Beverage, etc.  Our Client is the Market Leader in their space, has been awarded numerous patents and does all manufacturing here in the U.S.!


Responsibilities:

  • Managing Sales Teams Selling Valve & Control solutions to distributors and end-users
  • Build & execute a Sales Plan for your Team's territory
  • Reporting directly to VP of Sales / General Manager
  • Manage Team and Assigned Accounts / Territory to meet your #'s
  • Manage the Inside Sales Team to exceed objectives in your Sales Plan.
  • Attend Product Conventions & Seminars w/ your Team & Clients.

Qualifications:

  • Must have (5)+ years of Sales Management experience in the Industrial Valve & Control space (both End Users and Distribution Channels).
  • Client prefers a Marketing / Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Should have (5+) years Managing Sales Teams selling into all industries, especially Manufacturing, Oil & Gas (production & transmission), Refining, Chemicals, Marine, Power, Pulp & Paper, Steel, etc.
  • Must be living in Houston Area.
  • History of exceeding quota, results driven!
  • Ability to help Sales Team manage a complex sales process
  • Outgoing, Personable, Fun to be around!

Base Salary: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 Base (DOE)

On-Target-Earnings:  $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 - No Cap, Great Benefits, Car, Full Expenses, Upward Mobility

Base City: Houston, TX

Relocation: Maybe.

Travel: 40%
