The Job 

You will be responsible for :

• Building the tech team and leading them in developing the entire tech infrastructure of the company
• Leading a team of engineers to deliver winning products.
• Ensuring the development of well-designed and testable code.
• Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.
• Creating and executing strategy and roadmaps in conjunction with other stakeholders.
• Managing day-to-day stakeholder interaction, identifying needs and evaluating solutions.
• Working with other internal stakeholders as well as third party vendors to ensure solutions are in line with current & future business requirements.

The Profile

• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years software development experience, ideally within a startup.
• You possess strong knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, Node.JS, Golang and Cloud Databases (eg. AWS, Azure) databases.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a solid track record in IT business partnering roles and driving technology initiatives and programmes across the business.
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams
