Job Description

Required Skills and Experience:

Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Graphic Design, or related field, OR equivalent experience
Experience: 3+ years of experience with full stack web development
PHP and/or Python, Node.js, or other web-development framework
HTML5, JavaScript (jQuery, Angular.js, React.js or Knockout.js), CSS3 (LESS, Bootstrap or SASS), ES6
Developing and consuming public or private APIs (RESTful preferred)
Relational databases using SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc) and ORM layers
Software development best practices (git, testing/QA, etc) and agile development experience
Working knowledge of MVC frameworks and best practices
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Preferred Skills and Experience:

Object-Oriented (C++, Java, etc.) languages and knowledge of OO paradigms
Experience using frontend toolchains such as Gulp, Grunt or Webpack
Experience translating high-fidelity mockups intro elegant, accessible interfaces
Experience with responsive design and browser testing
Experience with Joomla! CMS, and vendor APIs (such as Box, Dropbox, DocuSign, etc)
Familiarity with Linux
Testing (unit, integration, regression, performance)
Documentation of best practices
