The Oath Global Network Infrastructure team is responsible for the core network infrastructure and shared services required to support all Oath properties globally. We design and build scalable, high-performance networks, manage global name resolution and routing, and manage a global content delivery network for Oath services.
A Lot About You
Within Oath’s Network Automation team, you will work with internal and external customers to gather requirements. You will be designing and implementing management and monitoring software for the next generation Oath network. In this position you will have the opportunity to apply advanced software skills, data analysis, control theory, operational experience and the ability to isolate, analyze and resolve issues.
Build applications that manage, monitor and analyze thousands of multi-vendor network devices
Build network management applications that help visualize network traffic flow
Develop API interfaces that see high volume usage from multiple internal customers
Collaborate with Oath’s Network Engineering team to automate processes and gather feature requirements
Write and review scalable, quality code in several high level languages
You Must Have
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in some of the following areas
Basic UNIX/Linux scripting skills, familiarity with bash, awk, sed.
Working knowledge of common networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP/S, DNS, SNMP, DHCP).
Understanding of networking concepts such as subnets, vlans, switching and routing.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
Experience in operating network gear from vendors like Cisco, Arista or Juniper.
