Job Description
Position Summary
Transcom is a leading global Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) provider, providing both the CRM and CMS business services. Located in 75+ locations in 27 countries, Transcom's 24,000+ employees handle more than 145 million calls and 2.5 million collection cases per year.

Transcom is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer to expand their internal BI team.

This role comprises of a number of key components:
  • To resolve small small to medium size new data integration and/or reporting requests independently
  • To fix business critical ETL and/or reporting issues confidently and independently
  • To proactively suggest and implement enhancements of the BI environment

Key technical requirements and experience
  • Strong SQL knowledge either Oracle or Microsoft SQL
  • Some Business Intelligence experience
  • SAP BusinessObjects and DataServices would be an advantage, but experience with other tools will be considered as well (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle)
  • Data warehousing and dimensional modeling knowledge
  • Programming background, knowledge of Microsoft .NET web technologies
  • Contact Center operations and reporting experience

  • Good problem-solving ability and communication skills
  • Ability to understand and formalize business requirements
  • Experience of problem analysis with global reporting architectures
  • Demonstrating the ability to understand and formalize non-technical internal clients
  • Direct involvement in designing and implementation of data models, ETL procedures, reports
  • Having experience of working in a global organization and multiple cultures / languages.
Personal characteristics
Candidates should:
  • Possess excellent analytical skills and must be able to troubleshoot issues independently
  • Be a team member and openly communicate and share information with peers.
  • Be procedure oriented and able to plan, manage and execute deliverables independently for simple technical projects.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to understand and produce technical documentation in English
  • Be proactive
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): business intelligence, business objects, Visual Basic, MS SQL Server, ASP.NET, SQL.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
