Job Description

Medicine-On-Time in Tampa Florida is looking for a hands-on software development manager to take over the management of their next generation medication packaging products.  


• Provide oversight and direction to the MoT Software Development team
• Scale an outstanding development team leveraging existing, new, and outsourced resources
• Provide weekly status to the management team regarding the status of the current sprint as well as any development team initiatives underway
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the members of the development team
• Perform regular code reviews on code written by development team - especially for offshore team
• Work closely with the Product team to help plan, estimate, and prioritize upcoming features
• Provide timely and complete support for customer issues escalated from the Support team
• Track and continuously improve development velocity
• Play an active role designing and coding
• Ensure all software is developed to be HITRUST / HIPAA compliant 

Requirements & Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in software development with at least 3 years experience in a leadership role
• Excellent leadership skills
• Ability to bring teams & people together
• Confident in presenting to team, leadership, board, & customers - each in a way that is relevant to that group 
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Relevant experience in healthcare is a big plus
• Managing local, domestic remote, and offshore development teams
• Agile using JIRA and Confluence
• .NET/C#
• HL7 & FHIR
• TCP/IP and Sockets
• Client/Server and Cloud based architecture
• PostgreSQL and SQLite
• Robotics Interfacing is a plus
• Data Transformation
• Experience with Pharmacy Management systems is a plus
• Interacting with Product Management and Marketing
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering a plus
