Job Description

The Senior Ab Initio Administrator designs, coordinates, provides guidance to others, and supervises the development of many robust, fault-tolerant applications to form solutions for information processing requirements to maximize audit site productivity. Participates with analysts, architects, business service delivery and operations teams to define plans for standardizing, scaling and enhancing products and the services utilized to deploy/install/release those products

Job Requirements
  • 6+ years of IT experience in software analysis, design and development for various software applications on Windows and Unix platforms.
  • 4-6 years of solid experience in the Analysis, Design and Development of solutions and strategies for creating Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) and real-time applications using Ab Initio applications.
  • 2+ year experience in solutions architecture, with the ability to evaluate business requirements and develop an application architecture to meet those needs
  • 4-6 years of experience with Ab Initio Co-Operating System, including: installation, application tuning, and debugging strategies.
  • 4-6 years of experience in application development using the Graphical Development Environment (GDE), to include building of Graphical Applications (Graphs) and Plans, creation of public and private projects, creation of Parameter Sets (PSets) and Application Configurations (AppConfs), data partitioning, building connections to multiple data sources/data sets, and modification of transforms using Program Definition Language (PDL)
  • Expertise in writing UNIX Shell Scripts including Korn Shell Scripts and Bourne Shell Scripts.
  • 2-4 years of experience using Express>It with solid experience in building templates.
