Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: 1 . Experience in SQL and or Oracle database administration 2. Hands-On Experience in Installation, configuration & Troubleshooting of SQL and Oracle Systems Migration from 2008 to 2012 and 2016 systems 3. Good Knowledge & experience on Back-up, Restore technologies 4. Designing Implementation and Administration of Microsoft SQL server 2008 /2012 5. Analyzing & Optimizing Oracle/SQL queries for Oracle and/or MS-SQL DBMS environments 6. Troubleshooting Performance issues on Databases 7. Building Oracle/SQL scripts for Oracle and/or MS SQL DBMS environments 8. Evaluating oracle DBA reports and initiate improvements resulting in tuning,9. installing patches and implementing new database releases 9. Knowledge & Exposure on SQL 2008/2012/2016 clusters and Oracle 10. Exposure to quality standards ISO 20000 & 27000 Skills: 1. Ensure High availability of customers IT Infrastructure managed 2. Perform Incident, Problem & Change Management using assigned Tools 3. Ensure compliance to agreed SOWs 4. Handle Technical Escalations received from Customer 5. Understand and follow SOPs ensuring compliance to Service Level Agreements (SLA) 6. Troubleshoot High Severity incidents & Provide RCA 7. Take initiatives in learning new Technologies & Tools 8. Co-ordination with customer on Incident resolutions & closure 9. Ensure High Availability of GSI monitoring Tools & Service Delivery Infrastructure 10. Assist in MIS & Dashboards 11. Implement server monitoring and management tools 12. Document technical procedures and work instructions 13.
