The Position Manager – Taxation will be based in Chennai Industrial Park (Sriperumbudur).

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do
Computation of advance tax on a quarterly basis - after considering the reconciliations with USGAAP and the business forecast for the respective Financial Year
To support transfer pricing documentation and audits by tax authorities
Track extraordinary costs incurred during a year (for eg ramp up costs, COVID impact etc.). These may be excluded from cost base for calculation of margins for transfer pricing purposes depending upon specific situation.
This increases the operating margins to meet arm's length profit criteria. An adjustment can be made to the margins for underutilization of capacity specifically exclusion of fixed costs for margin calculation purposes
For justifying any increase or decrease in the margins due to change in product mix, extraordinary costs etc. on a year on year basis. Specifically in the case of years in which the margins are lower
Ensure proper documentation to claim tax deductions for one time costs/write-offs/benefits for corporate tax and transfer pricing purposes
For documenting the changes in transfer pricing report
Classification of related party transactions to be supported by adequate documentation
Claiming tax incentives for the SEZ developer operations
Understanding of GST regulation related to reversal of GST
Maintenance of records required under GST and tax
Support statutory audit
Recon between IGAAP vs UGAAP
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of taxation experience, including domestic and international

Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Experience in IFRS, IGAAP and USGAAP
