JobDescription : The Role: Team Leader - I Number of Positions: 2 The Location: Ahmedabad The Team: The current position is with Industry Fundamentals teams wherein we provide comprehensive data on over 16, 000 companies across the globe. We have the headcount of around 600 professionals globally who are focused on providing the accurate financial data in the darndest manner to our clients. The Impact: The Team Leader - I would be responsible for leading a team in Ahmedabad. Accountability would also be towards understanding and owning the business objectives and be a role model for people and peer group, communicate with passion and enthusiasm, embrace change as a way of working and lead by example when communicating new initiatives. Additionally, Team Leader I needs to support the department in various initiatives towards enhancing the dataset and managing the team in a dyna mic environment with shifting priorities while maintaining strong organizational and reporting practices. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor a team of Data researchers in providing accurate and reliable financial data to external clients. Leads the day- to- day operations and manage workflow of the department. Day- to- day people management including clarifying queries from the Data researchers and ensuring that collection procedures are followed. Collaborate with other local/ global leaders in achieving departmental goals. Handle special projects that may be assigned on an ad- hoc basis. Co- ordinate with all upstream teams to ensure smooth operations and minimum interruptions for the team. Manages the performance review process, talent development and talent management processes of the team. Identifies individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst team. Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss updates, statistics, and other information. Proactively identify and troubleshoot system related issues. Ability to multi- task, while following flexible schedule to meet deadlines. Drive initiatives and suggest lean ideas to improve the business efficiency. What we re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: Excellent people leadership, development and coaching skills - ability to achieve results via effective coaching and leadership. Good observation and inter- personal skills. Strong skills of Communication, Organization and Leadership required. People management skills, ability to build and motivate a team. Strong organization skills required to prioritize work and meet established deadline. Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness. Maintains high ethical standards both personally and professionally, Create a healthy work environment that leads to trust, open and effective communication and a cohesive team effort Proven ability to work with minimal direction, maintain focus while working with routine and repetitive tasks. The position would require working in rotational/ night shifts on need basis. Preferred Qualification: Basic knowledge of Excel and SQL would be an added advantage.
